Health and safety specialists, Cardinus, have merged with sister companies, Active Risk Management (ARM) and Property Risk Management (PRM) to form a new “one stop shop” risk management operation – Cardinus Risk Management.

In addition to the merger a number of board appointments have been made. James Truscott who heads up the property division has been appointed as Chairman and Barbara Snape, previously head of operations has been appointed IT Director.

Commenting on the changes, Andy Hawkes, Cardinus’ Chief Executive said “the merger of our risk management operations is a significant step in our strategic plan to create the UK’s leading risk management consultancy.
I am delighted to welcome James and Barbara to the board and I look forward to working with them over the coming months and years.”

Cardinus works with leading UK and US businesses, charities, central and local government departments and other agencies. Cardinus has recently moved to a new head office in East Grinstead and has benefited from increased investment in IT, people and product development.

New Chairman, Truscott added, “Cardinus Risk Management is already a major force in the risk management arena and as a joined up business will now be able to deliver integrated risk management programmes for our clients in fleet, office ergonomics, fire and property risk.”
